The 2009 Maxine Bandemer Award

                                                                                                                                                                                  Maxine Bandemer was called by God to teach in the Weekday Religious Education Ministry of Associated Churches from 1952 - 1998.  She taught for 45 years and was the Director of the teaching ministry for seven years (1992-1998).   Our current Director, Kathy Rolf, was trained by Maxine (1998-present).  We at Associated Churches are proud that Maxine touched so many lives in the name of Jesus Christ!  Maxine had as her motto:  "To Teach is to Touch a Life Forever!"

   The Board of Directors wanted to pay a lasting tribute to her and her work among us and established the Maxine Bandemer Award for Excellence in Serving or in a Volunteer effort for the Associated Churches Mission and Ministries.
