 "Sort It and Box It Party!" 
 

What we’ll include:     Free Snacks

                                            Free Juice

                                            Free radio entertainment

                                            Fun and good fellowship
 

What you provide:          A little time (2-4 hours)

                                            A little muscle (light lifting)

                                            A little head muscle (sort food by food groups)

                                            A little energy (Pack food into boxes)
 

Best deal:    You pick the day and time

                                                            You will be helping provide food to the poor  in Allen County

Associated Churches Food Bank System
Needs your help!!!

We will be scheduling groups, families and individuals to sort and pack food

throughout the summer (until we’re caught up).

The best time is in the morning 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 Monday through Saturday.
 

Other times may be scheduled by appointment.

Encourage your youth group, Sunday school class, family and friends to volunteer.

The Letter Carriers' - Local 116 Food Collection               May 10, 2008

The Letter Carriers' Local # 116 Food Drive.  Over 345,000 pounds was collected on Saturday, May 10th, to feed the hungry in Fort Wayne and Allen County.  The Pictures show food being delivered and sorted at the Associated Churches Food Bank Warehouse.   Thanks to all  "Bag Buddies", those who helped box and sort, and volunteered at the sites. Thanks Letter Carriers for all you do in our community!
