Community Wide Baby Shower

We are excited to be the beneficiary of a Community-Wide Baby Shower during the month of October 2012. As Shelby Lynn, Promotions Director and Weekend DJ at STAR 88.3, prepares for the birth of her child she realizes a need to help other expectant families.
"Just like STAR 88.3, A Baby's Closet helps make Fort Wayne a better place to raise a family. I'm really blessed to have family and friends who are going to support me with baby showers - babies require a LOT of gear! All of us at STAR wanted to throw a Community-Wide Baby Shower to give back to A Baby's Closet of Associated Churches for the moms that don't have that support," explained Shelby Lynn.
Collection sites include all Peerless Cleaners and YMCA locations in Allen County. Large items such as new car seats or new cribs are desperately needed but must be dropped off at 602 East Wayne Street.
The month long event will wrap up with a Celebration Day on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at DeBrand Fine Chocolates, 10105 Auburn Park Drive. Shelby Lynn of STAR 88.3 will be there to give a piece of fine chocolate to every person who brings a donated baby item.
