Lenten Food Drive
March 2 - April 14, 2022
Also known as the "Fishes & Loaves" food drive, church members are encouraged to approach the Lenten season as an opportunity to make their Lenten sacrifice an offering to the hungry. This is a great opportunity to get your congregation to partner with Associated Churches by hosting a food drive.

NALC's "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive
May 14, 2022
Allen County residents are asked to help re-stock local food pantries and help alleviate the hunger that many Allen County residents face. To donate, place a bag of non-perishable food by your mailbox on Saturday, May 14, 2022 or take donations to Fort Wayne area post offices. Local letter carriers will collect bags placed by mailboxes during their regular delivery routes and then take the food to area food pantries.

September is a month-long food drive where people all over America stand together to fight hunger. It's a month to spread the word and take action on the hunger crisis and dedicate ourselves to a solution.

Classic Hits 101.7's Annual Stuff-A-Bus Radiothon
November 21 - 23, 2023
Classic Hits 101.7 hosts an annual Stuff-A-Bus Radiothon to help Associated Churches' Food Pantries and the hungry in our community receive the simple blessing of food around Thanksgiving. A bus will be parked in the Georgetown Square parking lot for 3 days collecting food.

The United Way of Allen County's 3rd Annual food drive to benefit Associated Churches, Community Harvest Food Bank and Miss Virginia’s Food Pantry.. Food collection sites will be collecting items February 17 through the 28th.

FWCS Competition

Fort Wayne Community School students are asked to participate in a competition to provide non-perishable food items for the NALC's "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive. The school with the largest collection wins the contest. The winning school will receive a trophy at a Public Assembly and will get recognized in the community for their outstanding accomplishments in the media.

Sunday July 31, 2022
On Sunday, July 31st you may bring a non-perishable food item for the Fairs Care program, which is donated to Associated Churches. By donating, you receive Free admission. You may also participate in Military Appreciation Day on Sunday and free admission as well if you produce a military ID (active or veterans).

Canterbury Fun Run & School Food Drive
November 2023
Canterbury School has an annual race that offers great fun, special prizes and the opportunity to fulfill a need in our community – feeding the hungry. A canned food donation is requested by all participants and serves as the registration fee for Pee Wee participants.

Military Families Thanksgiving & Christmas Food Drive
November & December
Every year, Associated Churches gives our local service members and their families a Thanksgiving and Christmas meal in a box. Over 150 families receive a box filled with a turkey and all the trimmings. Local businesses can help purchase items in bulk or give a monetary donations to bless these families during the holidays.
