Volunteer Opportunities

Everything we have is a gift from God. The gifts we have received are not ours alone. God gave them to us for the purpose of serving Him and serving others. Each of us has a unique gift to give, whether it is our time, talent, or treasure.

  • Hosting a Collection Drive - Organizing collections in your church, business, or group. Items such as food, school supplies, gift cards, and baby items are needed for all of our ministries.

  • Food Sorting - Packing food in our warehouse; involves no heavy lifting, or special equipment. Perfect for a group of up to 15 people.

  • Gardening - Maintain and cultivate the Associated Churches' Prayer Garden

  • Crochet/Knit - Handmade Infant blankets, especially 2.5' X 3.5', for A Baby's Closet

  • Mentoring/Tutoring - Visit and engage with FWCS elementary children in a group setting. Curriculum is provided for this continued mentoring opportunity

  • Journey Beside Mothers - Mother Mentors are community volunteers who offer emotional and practical support, education, and companionship to mothers while creating a long-lasting relationship. To learn about becoming a mentor follow the link to the JBM Page.

  • Marketing Projects - Take photos at events, write stories, or help fold and stuff envelopes

  • Special Events - Help with Associated Churches' annual events like:
